There was no strain."Riding a trainer in the wee hours of the morning doesn't really qualify as fun (duh, that's why I ride rollers). But once the mental callus has built up enough to tolerate the durations, I can sometimes get this zen state where I'm doing the work, suffering, but I'm mentally detached from it. I can feel it, taste it, see it, but it's happening to my body not to me.

Finally put up some respectable numbers this morning for the first time since June. Nice. The long dark time in the training lair has begun.
